-- Eric's recent recording studio bookings include the great singing of Brian Allan Bode as well as projects already underway for artists Joe Reese, Luanne Hunt, Steven Pacheco, Kaycee Lee James, Frank Ingram, Bill Eversole, David Naiditch, Michael Krynak, violinist Maurice Sklar, and music groups The Vibrations, Fine Line Bluegrass, Lonesome Otis and the Dalton Mountain Gang.  -- Thomas Porter's recording project has been released with guest artists, Clay Hess, Ron Block, Adam Steffy, Austin Ward, Sierra Hull, Christian Ward and several others! -- Eric's step sons, Austin & Christian Ward performed with the incomparable Fernando Ortega at a concert in Modesto this month! -- Christian has been performing with Sierra Hull all over the United States and Canada this year. Eric Uglum is an internationally known musician, producer and owner of New Wine Recording Studio in the High Desert of Southern California. Eric has made a career of highlighting and complementing the talents of others, whether on stage or behind the recording console of his music studio. He is often content to play subtle guitar and mandolin backup or add in a stunning vocal harmony, whatever best serves the song. With the release of his solo recording Shenandoah Wind on Backcountry Records, Eric has answered the outcry of his long-time following, bringing his soulful lead singing and guitar playing to the forefront in a very moving combination of songs that together reflect some of Eric’s musical affinities. Selected by Bluegrass Now magazine as the album of the year, guests on the project include Alison Krauss, Ron Block, Stuart Duncan and Rob Ickes. Eric has been featured in Flatpicking Guitar Magazine, Bluegrass Unlimited and Bluegrass Now Magazine as well as many television and radio interviews. Eric also performs with his remarkably talented sons, Austin (18) and Christian (16), in Chris Stuart & Backcountry, and recently the three have recorded a acoustic music project produced by Janet Beazley entitled, The Old Road to Jerusalem which has been getting air play internationally.
